Hexagon Happy

Another block from The Splendid Sampler. I  do enjoy stitching hexagons, as is probably more than evident from my hexagon quilt & subsequent projects. I'm a great fan of colour & have loved  the variety of block patterns that allow me to indulge.

  1. You've probably said, but I've missed it... how many blocks are you making?

    1. Hello Honeybee,

The project officially runs for a year, although it is not a race, thankfully. :):) Two blocks are released a week, Monday & Friday, where I am. There are also bonus blocks which appear on special occasions i.e. Derby Day, Easter, Autumn, Halfway, also a Thankful for November, to mention but a few. So well over 100 block for the year long treat.

  2. Lovely hexagons .I just have a box for hexies and add to it now and then,I like doing them, not sure what I want to do with them as yet.

  3. Hello Jen,

    Thanks for your comment.

That's a great idea to make & collect hexagons. I find love making them & find the process, very theraputic. I do know if used for a quilt, they mke it somewhat heavier than normal.
