Hexagon Happy
Another block from The Splendid Sampler. I do enjoy stitching hexagons, as is probably more than evident from my hexagon quilt & subsequent projects. I'm a great fan of colour & have loved the variety of block patterns that allow me to indulge.
The project officially runs for a year, although it is not a race, thankfully. :):) Two blocks are released a week, Monday & Friday, where I am. There are also bonus blocks which appear on special occasions i.e. Derby Day, Easter, Autumn, Halfway, also a Thankful for November, to mention but a few. So well over 100 block for the year long treat.
That's a great idea to make & collect hexagons. I find love making them & find the process, very theraputic. I do know if used for a quilt, they mke it somewhat heavier than normal. K.
You've probably said, but I've missed it... how many blocks are you making?
